I hereby recommend MR. GLENN MONK who worked for RH Imperial, S.A. de C.V. from February 1st through December 21, 2008 as the Director of Gastronomy and Culinary Innovation, responsible for the design and pre-opening set-up of the Food & Beverage operation for the Mundo Imperial Project.
Besides being a joy to work with, Glenn is a take-charge person who is able to present very creative ideas and communicate the benefits. He developed very successfully the concept of each of the seven outlets of Mundo. During his tenure, he assembled a solid team and positioned himself as an inspiring and motivating leader for all of them.
Though he was an asset to our culinary division, Glenn was also extraordinarily helpful in other areas of the company.

Glenn and his company were responsible for everything involved in the very first Food & Beverage operation of Club Intrawest from the design of the kitchen, restaurants and bars, including all the chinaware, glassware and cutlery, to the hiring and training of his teams of chefs and service staff to the development of all the menus and recipes.
Even with all the many challenges of opening in a new country with a new language and without any connections, Glenn did an outstanding job of gathering everything and everyone he needed to launch Zi - the Restaurant at Club Intrawest, Zi Bar and the Surf Club. There is no question that Zi has quickly become THE place to dine in Zihuatanejo and has attracted many, many customers from outside the resort who have given it superlative reviews.
